🌍 The Realm
Aurora is the tenth world — a curated, heavily-modded Valheim built for a persistent community. On top of the survival you know, Aurora layers a whole second game: trade unions, claimable union territory, a Favor reward economy, server-wide events, and a live leaderboard called Hel's Ledger.
It's one character per viking, one shared saga. Everything you earn, build and haul is tracked — and your standing among the clans is always on display.

⚔️ Getting In
- Download the Aurora Launcher from the homepage (or the Download menu). It installs and auto-updates every mod for you — no manual setup.
- Open the launcher and press the blood-moon to Play. It syncs you with the server's exact modpack and connects you.
- Spawn in and choose your Trade Union — a selection screen appears. This shapes how you farm, fight and rise, so choose well.
- Set a bed, gather, and meet the realm. Head to Midgard to trade and find your footing.
🛡️ Choose Your Trade Union
On your first spawn you pick one of seven trade unions. Each grants a signature, identity-defining perk plus passive bonuses, its own skill tree, and access to a union shop. This is who you are — choose deliberately.
Lumber
Build & repair wooden pieces with no workbench nearby. The forest answers to no axe but yours.
Metal
Right-click ore in your inventory to smelt it into ingots instantly. From ore and ash, an empire.
Marine
Swim with no stamina drain. The tide is a road, and a larder.
Fortified
Extra carry weight, and build & repair stone pieces with no stonecutter. Stone endures.
Runner
A random guardian power every 15 min, a Phantom Stride escape, and a loyal Shield-Brother companion. No walls — only the hunt.
Hunter
+25% damage to a monster for every star it has. Where the Forsaken fall, the union rises.
Thief
Ignore all wards — pass, build and take where others cannot. What is hoarded is merely… waiting.
✦ The Septagon
Every union has a septagon — a seven-spoke skill tree you grow with skill points as you play. Spend points to unlock movement, gathering, combat and utility nodes, plus your union's capstone abilities (like the Runner's Phantom Stride or its Shield-Brother companion). Open it from the union HUD in-game.
🔥 Favor
Favor is Aurora's reward currency, earned by taking part in the life of the realm — completing server events and objectives, claiming activity crate rewards, and aiding the world. Spend it on conveniences and power: renewing dungeons for fresh loot, union perks, and special rewards.
Favor rewards those who show up. The more you play with the clan, the faster it grows.
🪙 The Economy & Hel's Ledger
Coins are the lifeblood of Aurora. Trade with merchants and union shops, claim territory for your union to unlock its perks, and grow your capital — your total accumulated wealth. Every coin earned, resource hauled and tier reached feeds Hel's Ledger, the live leaderboard.

🏰 Midgard, the Hub
Midgard is the realm's central hub — the home all vikings spawn into. It's the safe meeting ground where the clan gathers: marketplace traders and NPCs, union stalls, and the road out to the wilds. Use it as your base of trade and your rally point before expeditions.
🐺 Companions, Blueprints & Berserkir
Companions — some unions can summon a loyal companion (a ship, a mount, a dragon, or the Runner's offline Shield-Brother) with a re-usable Union Companion Charter.
Blueprints — special build pieces come as blueprint items earned from activity crates and drops; place them to raise grand structures instantly.
Berserkir — build rage in combat to unleash a powerful frenzy. Watch your Berserkir HUD in the fight.
🔗 Link Your Discord
Linking isn't just cosmetic — verified vikings unlock exclusive rewards: special Market features and access to rare ships. The Shipyard blueprint drops straight into your Activity Crate the moment you link, opening up vessels you won't get any other way.
- In-game, run
/link— you'll receive a one-time code bound to your character. - DM that code to the "Aurora Character Link" bot on Discord (it calls out your request in chat so you know which one).
- You're verified — your Discord avatar and a badge appear on your character page on Hel's Ledger, the clan is notified, and your exclusive rewards unlock.
